The Van Wert County Foundation is launching a new scholarship opportunity for select adult education programs in partnership with Vantage Career Center. The Foundation has committed up to $50,000 in scholarships for the CDL, STNA, and Welding programs for this year. This program is intended to provide funding for participants who would otherwise be unable to finance these educational opportunities. Both The Foundation and Vantage Career Center are excited about this opportunity to provide access to education and training that leads to assured workforce development in the county.

To qualify for consideration, potential applicants must be a resident of Van Wert County, OH, and be enrolled at Vantage Career Center in a qualified (CDL, STNA, and Welding) Adult Education program. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the intent of employment in Van Wert County upon completion of the program. To access funding, potential applicants should complete the application online at vantagecareercenter.com.

Vantage provides authentic, student-focused, career technical training that provides high school students and adults opportunities for employment and further education.  For more information on adult education programs and scholarship opportunities, contact Maria Diltz, Enrollment Coordinator at Vantage Career Center, at (419) 238-5411 x2118.
